Ghana’s boxing world champion, Joseph Agbeko says his focus for his upcoming title unification is to win one of the biggest bouts in the bantamweight division.The IBF bantamweight champion is scheduled to fight undefeated WBC silver champion, Abner Mares in a title defence on April 4 in California.Nicknamed King Kong, Agbeko impressed the whole nation after he defeated Yohnny Perez in a rematch to reclaim the IBF Bantamweight title.Agbeko will leave Accra, Tuesday morning for the US where he will undergo final intensive training ahead of the fight.Agbeko who currently has a record of 28 wins and two losses told Joy Sports he is highly focused for the bout.“I am going back to work very hard to defend this title which is very important for me,” he said.Source: Joy Sports/Ghana
