Ghana striker Prince Tagoe has been handed a car gift because of his two-goal heroics in the Serbian derby.
Partizan coach Aleksandar Stanojevic gave the Ghanaian the keys to the black Renault Megan after Wednesday’s game, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The Ghanaian scored both goals in Wednesday’s fiery encounter against arch-rivals Red Star that gave them the 2-0 win which put him the Serbian folklore.
Stanojevic says he promised Tagoe the gift before the game and has promptly fulfilled his vow to the Ghanaian striker.
“I told Tagoe I’ll give him the keys of my car as a gift if he scores two goals or more and if we win,” Stanojevic said.
“Now I’m left without a car,” Stanojevic said while smiling and handing the highly-prized gift to the Ghanaian.
Tagoe and his compatriot and close friend Dominic Adiyiah have been spotted driving around in the car in the Serbian capital on Thursday.
