Two equities, Standard Chartered Bank and Total Ghana Limited urged up the GSE All-Share Index of the Accra bourse by 6.03 points on Friday with a strong performance.
Standard Chartered Bank and Total gained 2,000 cedis and 60 cedis, respectively, to push the index up to close at 5,007.18 points from 5,001.15 points registered on Thursday.
Shares that changed hands fell to 43,800 shares compared to 138,800 shares during the previous trading.
Change in year to date stands at 0.02 percent.
SCB went up by 2,000 cedis to close at 160,000 cedis and Total rose 60 cedis at 54,100 cedis to register the only two positive price changes on the broader market.
Market capitalization closed higher at 112,502.98 billion cedis from 112,466.95 billion cedis at the previous session.
