"All citizens deserve a minimum thresh hold of development," he stated.
The fund was a manifesto promise of the governing party that seeks to address the specific needs and challenges of Zongo communities (communities populated by Muslims) in the country.
Also at the hearing yesterday was Senior Minister-Designate Yaw OsafoMarfo who Justified Government’s intention to review the country’s IMF agreement.
National security minister-designate, Albert Kan Dapaah also said the creation of a ministry responsible for national security will help in the fight against forceful takeovers that characterise a change in government.
