President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to participate in the 28th African Union (AU) Summit.
He will join other African Heads of State and Government to brainstorm and arrive at solutions for some pertinent issues affecting the continent.
The AU's 28th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government opens on Monday, January 30.
The Summit themed “Harnessing the demographic dividend through investments in the youth,” is expected to position the continent in the comity of nations.
The Summit would also afford the Heads of State the opportunity to elect the Chairperson and the Deputy Chairperson of the AU Commission.
This is President Akufo-Addo's second foreign trip since his investiture as the 5th leader of Ghana.
He is expected back in Accra on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
