Former Black Stars striker, Ibrahim Tanko has assured head coach of the Black Stars, Avram Grant, that he will give every detail about the Cameroonian national team.
The Black Stars will take on Cameroon in the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday after defeating DR Congo by 2-1 in Stade de Oyem over the weekend.
Tanko, who worked with the Cameroonian national team as an assistant coach under German Thomas Finke, will be hoping the Black Stars qualifies for the finals of the tournament.
The former Ghana striker now works with the technical department of Ghana football Association as a scout for the Black Stars and is ready to feed the technical department of the Black stars with any detail which will give Ghana the edge on Thursday.
“I worked as the assistant coach for Cameroon and so I know much about the team, I will give out the little information and knowledge I have about the team,” Tanko stated.
“I am now the scout for the Black Stars and so much will be expected this time around especially when we are coming up against a team I know very well.”
The game is scheduled for 7pm Ghana time in Franceville.
