The MP for Odododiodoo, Mr Jonathan Nii Tackie-Komme, has provided the Holy Trinity Cathedral Secondary School (HOTCASS) with a 6,745-GH Cedi or a 67,450,000-cedi computer laboratory. Financed with money from the MP's HIPC Funds, the laboratory with 21 computers and accessories was commissioned on Saturday, as part of the activities marking the 38th Speech and Prize Giving Day of the School, in Accra. Mr Tackie-Komme said the modern trend of higher technology in the Information and Communication technology (ICT), which had made the world a "global village" made it necessary for all schools and students to have access to the facility to develop their potentials. He expressed his gratitude to the former Head Mistress of the School, Miss Sarah Hagan, for her motivation to establish the computer laboratory and her commitment for academic excellence and hard-work. Mr Tackie-Komme, who is also the Chairman of the Board of the School, congratulated the outgoing Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Mr S O Lamptey and Mr S N A Kotey, a Board Member now on retirement for their contribution to the development of the School during their tenure in office.
