Ghana defender Hans Adu Sarpei says he does not fancy entering into love relationships with black girls as he has a preference for white-skinned girls.
“I have dated a lot of white girls with just one or two black girls. This is because I grew up in Germany. Now I am coming back to Ghana but I spend just one or two weeks here so I cannot find a Ghanaian girl,” Sarpei disclosed on Viasat 1 TV’s The One Show with Joycelyn Dumas.
The international soccer star disclosed that even though he has a preference for white girls, he recently broke up with a girl he had dated for seven years.
“We dated for seven years before we broke up. I am a footballer and she is an actress so we were not having time for each other…I am dating someone now in Germany. We have been together for three months now.
“When I broke up with my girlfriend, I was thinking of dating someone from Ghana but the difficulty was that I do not come here often so when I met this new girl in German I went in for her,” Sarpei added.
When asked if he would marry his current girl friend, the footballer said it depends on the girl as to whether she wants to marry him.
On what he does with his free time, Sarpei said he scarcely gets time for leisure but when that happens, he watches comic movies and visits friends.
“I relax and watch movies and go to the cinemas or buy DVDs. The best movies are the ones that make you laugh. I visit my friends and we talk because during the soccer season, I do not have time,” Hans added.
