Ghana international Derek Boateng is ready to leave Getafe this summer after being linked with five English Premier Legaue sides.
The Sun says Boateng, 28, is a £5 million target for Sunderland, Stoke City, Newcastle United, Wigan Athletic and Bolton Wanderers.
But Newcastle are favourites for the midfielder.
He joined the Spanish La Liga side from FC Cologne and has been impressive.
