Ghana midfielder Michael Essien has rejected rumours that he is on the verge of leaving Chelsea to Inter Milan.
Ghanaian football fans were shocked after revelation in the Italian media that Chelsea have offered Michael Essien to Inter Milan for Wesley Sneijder.
Accoding to the report in one of the respected sports newspapers in Italy, Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has been offered TWO players by Chelsea for Wesley Sneijder.
Corriere dello Sport reported that Chelsea have made contact with Inter about a deal for the Holland international with key player Essien going in the opposite direction.
But Essien says he has no knowledge about the report linking him to Inter.
And he insisted: “I do not care about the rumours. I am calm.
“Nobody’s told me anything from Chelsea and I have a contract with them.”
