Ghana has dropped significantly on the FIFA world rankings from the 18th spot to 37th position.
Brazil reclaimed the top spot in soccer's world rankings on Wednesday after winning the Copa America.
Brazil jumped from the third position and its place was taken by world football champion Italy. Copa America runner-up Argentina moved from fourth to second, trading places with France.
The United States, which won the Gold Cup, moved up two places to No. 14. It could have been even higher but the American team lost three matches at Copa America.
FIFA has devalued the points for last year's World Cup matches by 50%, with the rankings for European teams now determined by qualifying games for the 2008 European Championship.
Germany, Netherlands, Croatia, Portugal, Spain and Mexico rounded out the top 10. Mexico moved from No. 26 to No. 10 following its runner-up finish in the Gold Cup and its third place at Copa America.
England dropped from No. 8 to No. 12. With the devaluation of World Cup points, the Ivory Coast moves to 31st position and Switzerland dropping to the 45th.
Cameroon is at the 15th place while Nigeria lies at the 25th spot.
