For its robust regulatory environment and remarkable navigation of total deregulation of its petroleum industry, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), has received the Oil Trading and Logistics (OTL) Downstream Regulator of the Year 2016 award in Africa.
The award, which was presented to Mr. Hassan Tampuli, Chief Executive Officer of NPA on the sidelines of the International Petroleum (IP) Week in London, United Kingdom, is in recognition of the NPA’s efforts at sanitizing the downstream industry in Ghana and creating a level playing field for all operators involved in the sector.
NPA is responsible for the robust regulatory environment which has been witnessed in Ghana’s downstream sector recently and the award is a confirmation of its resilient efforts aimed at sanitizing the downstream industry in Ghana and creating a level playing field for all operators involved in the sector.
