The New Patriotic Party parliamentary Candidate for the Tamale North constituency for election 2012, Mr. Akilu Sayibu has told the media in Tamale that, when elected as the Member of Parliament for the area on December 7 next year, he will be an MP for all and work diligently and industriously to improve the situation of his people and constituency.
“With God by my side, I will work hard to secure micro-credit facility for our women and farmers, collaborate with local and international NGOs to provide vocational skills for school leavers to make them employable and to also unveil strategies through which those already in employment in the informal sector in particular could expand their businesses for the mutual benefit of society,” he said.
He said, Education, employable skills for the Youth, improvement in farming and community development will be top on his agenda for the Tamale North constituency if elected as the Member of Parliament next year.
“I have interacted with various Youth groups in the Tamale North constituency since my election and can confirm that, lots of talents abound in the constituency- the right guidance and counseling is all that is needed to turn the talents into money and jobs and Akilu Sayibu is the right person to do this”.
The Tamale North parliamentary candidate explained that, even though he was elected by delegates of the NPP to lead the party in the constituency for election 2012, he needed the votes of all to become the Member of Parliament for all in the Tamale North constituency.
Mr. Akilu Sayibu also appealed to every one in the Tamale North constituency to join the “Akilu for Parliament Project” on facebook to get him elected on December 7 2012 as the Member of Parliament for the Tamale North constituency.
