Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has promised major changes in the game when he gets re-elected for another four years on Friday.
Nyantakyi is the only candidate for the presidency following the disqualifications of Neil Armstrong Mortagbe and Sowah Vincent Odotei.
And he says he plans to make the most of that term, especially in light of recent failures by the Ghanaian youth and female teams across the continent.
“We’ll come out with a blue print for football development,” Nyantakyi told Citi FM. “We want to take football to a different level and we want to improve upon the modest level that we’ve chalked over the past five years.
“I believe with the rest of all of you we’ll be able to take Ghana to the bracket of the top leagues of nations in the world.
“The league, juvenile football, refereeing, coaching, women’s football, administration itself and even in areas that we think we’ve made some strides will still be reviewed with the view of moving forward.”
