Players of Ghana Premier League side Tema Youth were robbed of their belongings in Bechem where they played against Bechem United in an outstanding Ghana Premier league game.
The barbaric act took place at the Nana Fosu Gyaebour park when the players were busy fighting for three points against home team.
The burglars broke into the dressing room and made away with their phones, money and other valuable assets
President of the club, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer was left stunned at the turn of event: "It's shocking. After being robbed on the field by referee Nuhu Liman, we suffer another robbery in the dressing room," he said.
"Five players lost their mobile phones, many lost their money and about four lost their boots. But some of the boots were found around the dressing room later," he added.
Tema Youth lost the game by a lone goal.
