Head coach of Hearts of Oak Frank Elliot Nuttall has insisted referee Samuel Suker had a good game in his side’s 1-0 victory against Kotoko on Sunday.
Kotoko assistant Godwin Ablordey slammed the referee for aiding Hearts to win the Super Clash by awarding a controversial late penalty which Vincent Atingah converted to secure maximum points for the Phobians.
But, Scottish trainer believes the decision was fair and that Ahmed Adams handled the ball in the box.
"I think the referee had a good game, he was balanced in his approach to the game, a difficult game for any officials to control and officiating on."
“And there have been times in the season where we should have some penalty decisions, which didn’t go our way, but today, we got one which was well deserved,” Nuttall said in a post-match presser.
Hearts following the win have moved up the log to 6th.
