A leading member of the Kotoko Supporters Group Alhaji Ali Maradona is appealing to the Ghana Football Association to bring the crucial second leg match of the all Africa Games qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria to the Babayara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Black Meteors were beaten 3-1 by Nigeria in the first leg of their All Africa Games qualifying tie in Nigeria over the weekend, and need to overturn this margin by scoring at least two unanswered goals.
The second leg is in Ghana in a fortnight and Ali Maradona believes Kumasi will be the ideal place for the Black Meteors to secure qualification to the all Continental games.
He told Asempa Sports on Monday that, if FA President Kwasi Nyantakyi ensures that the match is played in Kumasi, the team will surely qualify.
