Italian champions AC Milan face stiff competition for Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien.
After over five years at Chelsea, Essien is considering a new adventure and is a favourite of Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri.
However, Real Madrid are also keen, where Essien’s former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho is now in charge, as are Bayern Munich.
Bayern are regarded as favourites for the Ghana international, who is understood to favour a move to Germany should he leave London this summer.
The Bavarians had a difficult campaign last term and want to win the Bundesliga this season.
