Ghana captain has laughed off claims his niggling injuries are as a result of spiritual forces working against him.
Gyan has endured a torrid few years for both club and country with limited appearances due to spending time on the sidelines.
The Ghana captain managed to play only one game in 2016 for Ghana and his appearance in the 2017 AFCON was also hampered due to injury.
It is feared these injuries could be beyond physical happenings but Gyan believes he is beyond any spiritual manipulation.
''A lot of things run through head but the last thing I think about is a hex placed on me by somebody. I am too strong for that. Nobody can do anything to me,'' Gyan told Accra-based Hot FM.
''That person should think of using the witchcraft to help him/her family.''
Gyan is one goal away from reaching half a century goals for Ghana.
