Inter Allies coach Prince Owusu is backing Kwesi Appiah to land the vacant Black Stars coaching job.
Kwesi Appiah has emerged as the frontrunner for the job which became vacant following the departure of Israeli trainer Avram Grant.
Coach Prince who was assistant to Kwesi Appiah at Sudanese side Al Khartoum believes his former boss is the best choice for the job
"It is not just my view, majority carries the vote, everybody is talking about it and why are they talking about? It is what they saw, the difference between what Kwesi and Avram did," he told Joy Sports
"I will be excited if Kwesi Appiah comes back, he is like a brother to me and during his time we were heading to the right direction, brought in some young boys who are doing very well now.
"Ask yourself how many have joined the team since he left so I think if he comes back it will be right."
Shortlisted coaches will be interviewed by the committee set up to appoint a new coach.
