INTERCONTINENTAL Bank Ghana Limited has concluded an agreement with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to use the banking facility for the collection and processing of electricity bills on behalf of
ECG.
A statement from the bank said by that agreement and partnership with the ECG, customers and non- customers of the bank would have a stress-free opportunity to ensure continuous supply of power to their homes and businesses.
“All the five branches of Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited in Accra and Tema are equipped with the infrastructure and personnel to manage the bill payment process,” the statement said.
It named the branches as the head office, opposite the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium; the Kantamanto (Tarzan House); the Kaneshie (Pamprom traffic light) branch and the Osu (Watson House) branch all in Accra, in addition to the Tema branch on the fishing harbour road.
According to the bank, the initiative was in fulfillment of the bank’s promise of offering a one-stop financial services centre.
The bank late last year completed its entry into the country with a grand launch and the unveiling of its ultra-modern headquarters.
