THE Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) has allocated ¢2O billion this year to support young farmers in the country, the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Edward Boakye Agyeman, has announced.He said the move was part of the bank’s traditional commitment to support farmers and their activities.Mr. Agyeman, who said this during an end-of-year reception for customers of the bank, said the bank had also put in place measures to make the bank compete favourably with the rest.The reception was meant to thank the bank’s customers for keeping faith with the bank for the past years.He said about 32 branches of the bank had been networked and stated that all the branches nationwide would he networked before the end of the year.He said ATM facilities would also be installed in all the branches by April this year to enable customers to have easy business transactions with the bank.Mr. Boakye Agyeman said management was aware of problems facing customers in connection with service delivery and assured them that management would try as much as possible to meet all difficulties and challenges that the bank would encounter this year.
