Former Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Jarvis Peprah, has backed management’s decision to axe Croatian coach Zdravko Logarusic, eleven games into the Premier League season.
The former Ashantigold coach was sacked on the back of a four game winless run amidst much agitations from fans of the club.
After their goalless draw with Dwarfs in Kumasi, the decision was taken to show the coach the exit and Jarvis Peprah is delighted with the decision.
“I’m very happy with Logarusic’s sack and I think it’s a timely intervention for the club. The team hasn’t been playing well and it is all down to the tactics of the coach,” Peprah said.
“In fact, you could see clearly from yesterday’s game that we didn’t have a good coach. Our striker [Yakubu] was caught offside several times and the coach did nothing about it.
“Christopher Bonney was marauding the left flank of Kotoko’s defense at will and the coach did nothing to salvage the situation.”
Zdravko’s record stood at 5 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats in 11 games.
