The home of Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom was raided when he was away for the final All Africa Games qualifier played in Kumasi last Sunday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm
The 20-year-old arrived in Dnipropetrosvk together with his wife and son on Thursday to meet a ransacked room.
GHANAsoccernet.com understands it is unknown when the incident took place.
The right-back quickly informed club president Andriy Stetsenko who visited his residence in the company of city police who have since launched an investigation into the robbery.
The criminals are said to have broke into the house and removed the louvres.
They stole hi-fi equipments, furniture and other household electrical goods.
The landlord is demanding that the 2010 Fifa World Cup star pays for the stolen furniture which is estimated at US$ 10,000.
Inkoom has been checked into a hotel in Dnipropetrosvk.
He captained Ghana’s Olympic team to beat Nigeria’s Dream Team V 2-0 to qualify for the All Africa Games finals.
