Greater Accra Region continued with their dominance in both the Badminton male and female categories at the National Unity Games currently taking place in Accra.
In the men’s division, the Greater Accra Region team defeated Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) 2-0 to continue with their win, whilst Upper West Region handed Volta Region a 2-1 defeat, with Eastern Region thrashing the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) 3-0.
Greater Accra region again triumphed over the GAF 3-0 in the female division of the discipline, with Ashanti Region beating Central Region
2-1, while Eastern Region defeated Volta Region 2-1.
The competition enters the fourth day, and it is expected to provide patrons with thrilling encounters in the various sporting events at the Games venues of the Accra Sports stadium, University of Ghana Sports Oval, ATTC Park, El-Wak stadium and the Presec-Park Legon.
