Officials of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have dismissed rumours of an imminent axing of head coach Bogdan Korak.
The Serbian led Kotoko to a disappointing 0-1 defeat to lowly Division One side Nania FC in Sunday’s FA Cup final.
It was Kotoko’s rare opportunity for a silverware this season but somehow the Porcupine Warriors fluffed the last chance.
Korak attributed his defeat to poor officiating in an interview with the media but the captain of the side, Daniel Nii Adjei thought Nania won on merit.
Reports have been rife about the sack of the Serbian but the administrative manager of the club, Ben Nti told Joy Sports no such decision has been taken.
He said it is too early to for the club to arrive at such a decision.
With Sunday's loss, Kotoko failed to equal the nine time FA titles rivals Accra Hearts of Oak have won.
