Black Stars defender John Paintsil has completed all paper works to begin stints with English Championship side Leicester City.
The 30-year-old was in Accra early this week to secure his work permit from the British High Commission.
The right-back has signed a three-year deal with the club after running out of contract at Premier League side Fulham.
John Painstil told Joy Sports, “I have got a lot to give. It’s a big challenge to me because our Chairman is also spending a lot of money to promote the team to the Premiership.
He’s been bringing in a lot of players and the players that he bought are all quality players, more professionals and it’s not only me but I know I have got good team-mates who will stick together and work with me and bring the team to a certain level.”
Paintsil is hopeful his five-year experience of playing in the English top flight will help Leicester City secure promotion next season.
He is yet to make his debut after missing out of last Saturday's pre-season clash against Spanish giants Real Madrid.
