The exploratory committee commissioned by Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom to go round the country to find out the viability of his candidature for president has presented its findings.
The committee says its research indicates Dr. Nduom will win the CPP’s flag bearer race because he is the party’s best hope of gaining power.
He is however being urged to start campaigning immediately.
Richard Nii Armah who is the spokesperson for the committee, said “We believe that in 2008, Dr Nduom started the campaign far too late; the CPP congress was held far too late.”
The group said ahead of the CPP’s delegates congress to elect a flag-bearer, he must start his presidential campaign.
The committee also recommends that the CPP should do more to attract the youth to join its ranks.
