Andre Ayew was on target for Olympique Marseille in their 2-2 at Auxerre on the second weekend of the French Ligue 1.The club’s best player for last season was assertive on the flanks and headed home on 43 minutes to give Marseille a 2-0 before half-time.Valbuena sent over a corner to the far post and Ayew beat his marker Traore to nod home.Auxerre coach Laurent Fournier made one change at the break, sending on Contout for Issam Jemaa, and the substitute would end up being his side’s hero in the closing stages. However, before then it was Traore who got Auxerre back into the game as he netted just a minute after half-time to make it 2-1.Auxerre did make it 2-2 in the 82nd minute though to secure themselves their first point of the season after losing to Montpellier last time out.Andre was replaced by Charles Kabore in the 87th minute and his younger brother Jordan Ayew came on for Loic Remy after 75 minutes.
