Former Ghana Boxing Authority Chairman, Moses Foh Amoaning has lashed out at Referee Russell Mora for his biased officiating against Joseph Agbeko, describing the referee's performance as a stain on the whole profession which must be condemned in the strongest terms.Abner Mares won the IBF bantamweight championship Sunday morning, beating Joseph Agbeko by a controversial majority decision.Many have described Referee Russell Mora’s performance as one of the worse in the history of the sport as he showed total bias in favour of Abner Mares.Mares won a majority decision as two judges gave him the fight at 115 to 111, with ringside judge C.J. Ross drawing it at 113 for both men.Agbeko demanded an immediate rematch.But Moses Foh Amoaning told Asempa Sports that Mora’s performance on Saturday did not speak well of his skills as a referee, stressing that the referee should be ashamed of himself.According to him, Agbeko did not deserve to lose the bout but due to the shameful refereeing he lost it and backed Agbeko’s call for an immediate rematch to redeem his image.
