President J.E.A. Mills says government will not rush to declare its stance on developments in Libya.The president, who is on a state visit to South Africa, told his counterpart Jacob Zumah in a meeting that his government is keenly monitoring events in Libya and will make its position public at the appropriate time.“We in Ghana will be watching events and at the appropriate time, we will take a decision but let me emphasise that whatever decision we take…[will take] into consideration the best interest if the people lf Libya,” he stated.President Mills who is also meeting corporate leaders on his trip asked investors to turn to Africa for good business.“Africa is beginning to make some remarkable progress; Africa is showing the whole world that given the opportunity, we will be able to stand tall. Africa is sending signals to the rest of the world that this is the continent of the future and that investors will be able to get a good return on their investment.”“Gone are the days when people looked down on Africa,” he stated, stressing that the successful staging of the 2010 Fifa World Cup is ample testimony that “when given the opportunity, the African will be able to deliver creditably.”
