Ghanaian Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has expressed his disappointment at his team’s inability to progress to the Champions League group stages.
Arsenal beat Udinese 2-1 away, to qualify for the group stages of this year’s Uefa Champions League on a 3-1 aggregate.
Before Wednesday’s game, Agyemang-Badu who played a major role for his Italian side in the two-leg games was optimistic of Udinese progressing in the Champions League after a narrow defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates stadium in the first leg encounter last week.
According to him, he is disappointed they could not utilize the glorious opportunity to go past a beleaguered Arsenal side.
He told Asempa Sports on Thursday that, they fought hard to get there but it was so unfortunate their dream could not come to pass.
Ghana duo Kwadwo Asamoah and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu played the full duration of the game for Udinese.
