Ghana's two most glamorous clubs have taken a swipe at Berekum Chelsea’s Accra Representative, Oduro Sarfo for branding them as irrelevant in Ghana football.
Oduro Sarfo who is a member of the GHALCA Top 8 planning committee has branded Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko as ordinary to the extent that they are irrelevant in all competitions in Ghana after the two clubs boycotted the Ghalca Top 8 scheduled to take place next month.
The Public Relations Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Albert Commey has indicated that, Oduro Sarfo is entitled to his opinion as to what he thinks about something but since it is not the view of the general public, their outfit is not bothered with his comments.
He told Asempa Sports that, Hearts and Kotoko have been among Ghana and Africa's unsurpassed clubs since their founding and have been very successful so if someone comes publicly to state that these two clubs are irrelevant then he finds no basis in the person’s argument.
The National Circles Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Edmund Ackah has also stated that Oduro Sarfo should not be given prominence for such comments.
According to him, comments like this should not be discussed since he sees no relevance in it.
