By popular request, Selewa Market is returning to Golden Tulip Accra on Republic Day weekend following the success of the African market which took place on May day.
There has been immense pressure from both exhibitors and shoppers for the 4 -star hotel to hold a follow-up event.
Although there are plans to hold subsequent Selewa Markets later in the year, a Republic Day edition of the has been slated for July 2.
According to Akua Anim, Head of Marketing and Events at Melon Concepts, organisers "we were very impressed with the turnout at the last event."

"We are excited by the overwhelming support and endorsement by the general public for the Selewa pop-up market concept. We are hopeful this trend will continue to grow”.
Marshall Otu, Food and Beverage Manager at Golden Tulip said, “the good patronage of the May Day market has delighted the Hotel to host Selewa Market again on their Accra premises”.
"This is another opportunity to further showcase the hotel’s amenities to the public while giving our hotel guests another opportunity to buy a variety of authentic African goods within the premises of their favourite hotel," he said.
The Selewa Pop-Up Market provides an avenue for businesses both SMEs and corporate to converge at one venue to sell and promote their products and services to a shopping audience.

Having successfully organised its 5th edition, Selewa Market concept is gaining popularity as a leading pop up market attracting exhibitors from across Africa.
The Republic Day edition will hosts over 40 vendors from Ghana and across the African continent stocking traditional and contemporary clothing and fabrics, hand-made beads, footwear and bags.
There will also be natural skin and hair products, the finest selection of African paintings and sculpture pieces and so much more, all at discounted prices.
The event will be lit with a fashion show that will showcase the finest in African wear.
Food and drinks will be served also at discounted prices courtesy Golden Tulip Accra Hotel with a free children's play area.
