Ghana FA President Kwesi Nyantakyi says he expects the Black Stars to face a tougher Swaziland side in today’s 2012 Nations Cup qualifier at the Accra Stadium today. The Black Stars secured a convincing 3-0 win over the Swazi’s in the first leg last September and are seeking to replicate a similar result to improve their points build up and ease qualification to their fourth consecutive Nations Cup. The odds are against the Swazi’s, but Kwesi Nyantakyi, who doubles as chairman of the Black Stars management committee, has urged the team to guard against complacency. Speaking to JOY Sports Dennis Mirpuri, Nyantakyi said, “The fact that we beat Swaziland in the first match does not mean that it’s a foregone conclusion that we will win the game. We should see the game as a different game altogether because having being beaten 3-0 the Swazi’s will now come stronger than we met them.” He added that, “The players are very much aware that complacency is not part of their vocabulary for this game. And, we also know that we have a very difficult game against Sudan in October and we need to win in order to lessen the burden on the team in Sudan.” Ghana is tied ten points apiece with Sudan but leads the pack in Group I on goals difference.
