Officials of newly promoted Premier League club Wassamann FC have confirmed to JOY Sports that negotiations are almost complete to sell their top flight slot to relegated Real Tamale United.
The Tarkwa-based side, which secured qualification in July, claim they lack the expertise to play in the league which begins on October 9.
According to the statues of the Football Association, clubs are allowed to sell their rights in takeovers.
Wassaman earned qualification to the elite division after amassing six points in the Division One promotional play-off.
