Ghana striker Matthew Amoah reached an agreement on Monday to sign for newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig side Mersin Idman Yurdi for three years.
The 30-year-old moves from Dutch Eredivisie side NAC Breda where he has played the last five years.
Amoah was linked with Galatasaray in the transfer window but made a surprise switch to the small club in Mersin.
The prolific goal scorer scored 42 goals for Breda in over 100 appearances and the club's top scorer in all the years spent at the club.
Amoah could make his debut for Mersin when the Super Lig begins this weekend against Ankaragucu.
Mersin Idman Yurdi won the Turkish second-tier league last season.
