Coach Yusif Abubakar, who is soon expected to seal a move to Asante Kotoko as assistant trainer to Bogdan Korak, has told JOY Sports he may be forced to join another club if the management of the Kumasi based club fails to review his contract.
Kotoko handed Coach Abubakar a contract which has a clause stating that he must pay Kotoko 100,000 cedis if he decides to abrogate his deal.
The contract also states that Kotoko will be mandated to pay him only three months of his salary in advance, if he is dismissed before the end of the contract.
Yusif Abubakar told JOY Sports, “We need to work in a very good atmosphere. For now I have drawn their attention to some conditions in the contract and they all admit it’s too much so I expect them to work on it.”
The former Hearts of Oak trainer is yet to secure another coaching job after parting ways with Premier League champions Berekum Chelsea at the end of last season.
