The last son of Ghana’s first President Dr. Sekou Nkrumah has stated that Ghana needs a radical and dynamic leader to facilitate rapid development.
He stated that looking at how rapidly the world is evolving; Ghana will continue to languish in underdevelopment if it fails to elect dynamic leaders.
Dr Sekou Nkrumah noted that Ghana needs to redirect her focus from producing raw materials to using science and technology to make the country a better place to live.
Dr Sekou Nkrumah was speaking in an interview with Asempa Fm’s Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong on Saturday, at the extra-Ordinary National Delegates Congress of Convention People's Party (CPP) at the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.
Citing his father as an example, Dr Sekou Nkrumah said all political parties must elect visionary leaders to manage the nation's affairs.
He therefore tasked the CPP to elect radical leaders for the betterment of the nation.
