Joy Business has launched the second edition of its entrepreneurial reality show, MY BUSINESS 2011.The show seeks to empower 10 selected young entrepreneurs with cutting-edge know-how on how to succeed at doing business in Ghana regardless of the obvious challenges.Participants would have the privilege to under-study successful Ghanaian businessmen for a full year.Among other things, participants will benefit from lectures and one-on-one mentoring sessions from leading businessmen in Ghana.The mentors include Mr. Martyn Mensah (CEO, Kasapreko Ghana Ltd), Alhassan Andani, Managing Director Stanbic Bank; Pearl Esua-Mensah, Director, UT Financial Services; Dr. Michael Agyekum Addo, Chief Executive Officer, KAMA Group of Companies; Frank Adu, Managing Director CAL Bank and Magnus Nunoo of Magvlyn Industries Limited.The rest are Yoofi Grant, Executive Director of Data Bank; Roland Agambire, Chief Executive of rLG Communications; Mohammed Awal, CEO, Marble Group of Communications and Mr. Samuel Amo Tobbin, CEO, Tobinco Pharmaceuticals.Mentees would also receive tuition on crucial business topics such as how to develop a successful idea, capitalizing a small business, holding on to clients and preparing winning proposals, presentations and pitches.Project Coordinator for MY BUSINESS 2011, Sedem Ofori tells Joy Business several inclusions have been made to this year’s project to make it bigger and better.He said “this year you can expect us to present a lot of young entrepreneurs learning from young mentors. We will also extend our outreach through contemporary social media”.He added “the team learnt critical lessons from the first edition expected to enhance this year’s edition”.For those who look forward to be mentored this year the procedure is simple.
