New Patriotic Party flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo is back at the Central Region on his listening tour.
Accompanied by the Mfanstiman West Parliamentary Candidate, Stephen Asamoah Boateng, the flagbearer called on market women in Mankessim to listen at first hand the challenges the market women were going through.
Joy news’ Central Region correspondent Richard Kojo Nyarko reported that Nana Addo in a true spirit of listening, barely uttered a word. He only shook hands with, and smiled at, the market women.
The campaign team observed the insanitary conditions at the market place with some of the market women virtually sitting on garbage to sell their commodities.
The market women, according to Kojo Nyarko appealed to Nana Addo to help improve on the insanitary condition at the market.
The flagbearer is expected to spend ten days in the Central Region before proceeding to the Western Region on his second leg of the nationwide listening tour.
