There is chaos at the Cape Coast Town hall where the ex-first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings is expected to address her supporters .
Well built men have reportedly prevented Mrs Rawlings from engaging her supporters.
Joy FM Central Region correspondent Richard Kojo Nyarko confirmed the incident, Saturday Morning.
He said the men, some of who he could recognise as supporters of the National Democratic Congress have mounted a road block to prevent the members of FONKAR from entering the town hall.
The National Organiser of FONKAR, Charles Opoku in an interview expressed disappointment with the behavior of the men.
According to him, the men claim the NDC constituency office had not been officially informed about the meeting and would therefore not allow Mrs Rawlings to address her supporters.
He again said the 'macho men' claim they have been given orders from above to stop the occassion.
Charles Opoku described the chaos as unacceptable, insisting FONKAR had duly paid for the town hall and should be allowed to use it.
Police personnel, Kojo Nyarko confirmed have arrived at the scene negotiating with the macho men.
Mrs Rawlings who is in Cape Coast is however yet to arrive at the hall.
The ex-first lady has been embarking on a nationwide tour to thank her supporters who were behind her during the delegates congress.
