President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has laid a wreath at the tombs of three former Zambian Presidents, as part of his three-day visit to the Southern African country.

The President in the company of government officials laid the wreaths decorated with the red, gold and green colours of Ghana on the three tombs early Tuesday morning.

The tombs President Akufo-Addo visited included that of the fifth President of Zambia, Michael Chilufya Sata who ruled from September 2011 until his demise on October 28, 2014 and second President of Zambia, Frederick Chiluba who led the country from 1991 to 2002. He died on June 18, 2011.

The last tomb was Zambia's third President, Levy Patrick Mwanawasa who ruled from January 2002 until his death in August 2008.

Joy News' Presidential Correspondent, Elton Brobbey reports President Akufo-Addo will be holding talks with Zambian President, Edgar Lungu thereafter on how to enhance regional trade in the continent.
