The 2008 presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has said he is uncertain whether he will contest for the flag bearer slot for the party come 2012.
Dr. Nduom claims his decision to contest or not, would be backed by how the leadership of the party handles issues relating to unity in the party.
Dr. Ndoum said it is about time party executives buried their differences and unite, to seek the welfare of the party and prepare for victory come 2012.
At a ceremony held to inaugurate a new office at the Korley Klottey constituency, Dr. Ndoum appealed to party members to work hard in building the party by encouraging people to join.
He advised that it is about time those who claim to be members of the CPP to come out in their numbers and show their faces to help push the party forward.
Dr. Nduom disclosed that the inauguration of the office is one of many preparations that the CPP is making to woo members for the party ahead of the 2012 elections.
He added that there are about 60 offices to be inaugurated in other constituencies in the next 8 weeks.
Meanwhile, he appealed to all lovers and activist of the CPP to come forward and help the party build more offices in all the 230 constituencies.
