The CEO of Berekum Chelsea, Nana Kwame Nketiah in the wake of the club’s recent form says they have no peers in the local front.Berekum Chelsea, the league champions over the weekend added to their trophy tally by winning the inaugural Ghalca “G8 tourney“ by beating Medeama SC by a lone goal. Many football pundits have started talking about their exploits and are wondering if any club at the local front can stop them and the Chief Executive Officer of the club says no team can.Nana Kwame Nketiah, who was speaking on Asempa FM’s Sports Morning Show on Tuesday said neither Kumasi Asante Kotoko nor Accra Hearts of Oak even with their vociferous fans can stop them. When asked if the other emerging powerhouses at the local scene such as Medeama Sporting Club can do the trick, he said “no but the only person who can hinder our progress is God”.Berekum Chelsea burst onto the elite division barely some three seasons ago and in their third attempt managed to emulate the feat of Aduana FC, a club from the Brong Ahafo Region by breaking the duopoly of Kotoko and Hearts in the league.Currently they are 2010/2011 Premier League Champions, 2011 President Cup Winners and just this last Sunday added the inaugural Ghalca G8 tourney to their kitty.
