The Ghana FA believes the attractiveness of the various national teams is the main reason behind the huge number applicants for coaching jobs.
164 coaches are confirmed to have submitted their curriculum vitaes to be considered for vacant jobs.
The list includes expatriates Hans Van der Plyum and former Tema Youth coach Atila Sekerlioglu.
Top notch local coaches Abubakar Yusif, Bashir Hayford and Paa Kwesi Fabin have applied to coach the Black Starlets.
Acting General Secretary of the Ghana FA, Emmanuel Gyimah told JOY Sports, “We know how attractive the national team brands have become so attractive, so a lot of people are interested in being a part of these teams to enhance their curriculum vitas.”
The Football Association will interview coaches next week and expected to announce the successful applicants in mid October.
