President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi and leading members of the Association left the shores of Ghana on Wednesday to Sudan as the Black Stars prepare for their 2012 AFCON qualifier with the Sudanese team on Saturday, 8 October, 2011 in Omdurman.
Kwesi Nyantakyi assumed the Chairmanship of the Black Stars Management Committee in his second tenure and is yet to face his biggest test.
Other members of the association who joined him to Sudan were the Vice President of the GFA and member of the Black Stars Management Committee, Mr. Jordan Anagblah and Mr. Moses Armah also a member of the Black Stars Management Committee.
The team led by Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to arrive in Sudan on Thursday.
Ghana shares the top spot of Group 9 with Sudan on 13 points.
The two teams lock horn on Saturday, 8 October, 2011 in what happens to be the decider for the top spot in the group in the ongoing 2012 AFCON qualifiers.
