The Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi is gearing up for this year’s Nhyira FM’s Keep-Fit Fun Games, one of the biggest outdoor events in the region.
The annual event, which enters its fourth year, comes off on Saturday, October 29, 2011.
It brings together keep-fit and other social clubs to compete in sporting activities as well as build business bridges.
Fiercely-contested in-studio performances, laced with hot cheer songs, popular known as ‘jama,’ have already raised expectations to fever pitch.
Organizers say preparation has gone very far.
Clement des Bordes, Events and Promotions Executive at Nhyira FM, says the event has been shifted from the traditional Danyame Ridge Park venue to Baba Yara Stadium to accommodate the increasing number of participants.
He promises fans an innovative and surprising package this year.
Prominent government officials and security officers in the region are expected to grace the occasion.
