The Media Committee Chairman of Ghana Football Association Mr. Randy Abbey says it is time for some of the Board members of Accra Hearts of Oak to make way for fresh ideas which will move the club forward as they mark the centenary anniversary of the club.
Speaking on Asempa Sports Morning Show on Wednesday, Mr. Abbey said all that the supporters want is victory and are not concerned about how the club is ran, a situation he said was not good enough for the development of the club.
He said he is happy to be a phobian, revealing, that his best moment in Hearts of Oak was when the team conquered bitter rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko to win the maiden CAF Confederations cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
He said he went half naked that day when Hearts won the cup.
Again he said his worst time with Hearts of Oak was when he was sacked from the club for not supporting the registration of Charles Taylor and Ishmael Addo which he said he was vindicated.
He wish the team well in their centenary anniversary and from now he will put his Confederations Cup medal on, as part of celebration.
