Upper West indigenes against slash in UDS admissions

Indigenes of the Upper West region are protesting the slash in admissions to the Wa campus of the University of Development Studies (UDS) this academic year. Vice Chancellor, Professor Haruna Yakubu says the intake of fresh students was slashed from 7,000 to less than 3000 due to inadequate infrastructure. People in the region especially those who invested heavily in building hostels are not amused by the decision and accuse the school authorities of sabotage. Full report attached
